The objectives and activities of the Village Hall are to provide a focal point for the village of Follifoot and Plompton by being available for hire to residents and non-residents of the village for events. Additionally the hall is used as a resource by the local school for many of its daily activities.
The Village Hall operates as a charity established by a Trust in 1970. This Charity, number 1026219, is registered with the Charity Commission. The Charity is run by a Board of Trustees and a Management Team details of which are shown below:

The hall has disabled access and facilities, a public address system with induction loop, a music licence so copyright music can be played at any event, a piano and all the usual facilities of a well maintained village hall. As a bonus, doors in the picture windows give direct access onto the large lawn which could hold a marquee to be used by hirers. The hall also has WI-FI.
The car park takes about twelve cars with other parking on the main street.
The size of the hall is approx 8.5m x 14.5m, capacity 120 seated.
